It is essential to evaluate falls that happen to inpatients in hospitals. These falls may arise from infrastructural factors of the facility within which the patient are in or from other factors that may be caused directly by the patient. However, in most of the cases, patients usually respond positively by reactions that prevent their falling. In instances when the patients by themselves, they cannot react to certain situations, they may seek help from the nurses. For example, a patient may want to wake up and walk around the ward or visit the washroom, but they are weak to do so. Nurses can help in these situations.
