Answer preview

In their research, Karim et al. (2020) sampled 500 participants who included physicians, nurses, lab technicians.  Out of the total participants, 76.4 percent were physicians, 16.4 percent were nurses, and 7.3 percent were lab technicians. Also, 76.4 percent were working in the Covid 19 dedicated hospitals, 25.5 percent were not working in hospitals dedicated to the Covid 19, and the rest were unsure about the status of their hospital.   Also, 90.9 percent of the participants were healthy, 1.8 percent were sick, while 7.3 had covid 19 related symptoms.

The hypothesis, independent and dependent variables

Karim et al. (2020) hypothesize that without proper use of PPEs and hand wash, it would be difficult for the health practitioners to scale back the hospital-based infections. Some of the notable independent variables include the use of PPEs, and hand wash hygiene. On the other hand, the dependent variables are the Covid 19 related infections (Gupta, & Lipner, 2020).
