The first role of human resource representatives is recruitment where they are responsible for attracting strong candidates for the various organization positions. They may specialize in a specific area or generally work to ensure the company gets a certain pool of potential workers. Human resource representatives target and recruit potential candidates who may possess the skills, knowledge, and experience that would suit the organization needs. They have to travel to universities or job affairs to get the best candidates (Stredwick, 2013).
