Answer preview
Artists like Pablo Picasso have created portraits of themselves over their career period either as a means of one’s physical attributes representation or a way of announcing one’s vocation as an artist, place in the society and style (Folgarait, 2017). The differences in the three self-portraits by Picasso can be in his skillful nature from his teenage which can be considered as restless to the wise old age his portraits were at his 15 years old, 25 years old and 56 years old. The 15 years Picasso portrait shows a young man who somewhat looks professional and serious, from the picture there is a smooth face that depicts a young man. The 25-year image shows a more mature man, and from the contours of his look, it’s a clear indication that the man is already progressing in age. The artist’s eyes are more pronounced at this age of 25, and he has used lines to depict the bridge of his nose, his eyes, and eyebrows. The third portrait of himself at the age of 56 shows an older man. The painting looks like a reflection of him doing the art or artistic work(690words)
