The first step that a school can take in addressing bullying is by formulating a distinct definition of bullying. Therefore, every student and teacher will be aware of the acts that amount to bullying. Secondly, the schools should set clear rules and state that bullying is prohibited and state the consequences for bullying. Finally, the school should have an open communication policy where any child that undergoes bullying can report the same.
