Langer (2017) highlights that the IT roles responsibilities need to be restructured to meet the driver and supporter model suggestions. Most of the IT departments in organizations play a supporter role.  The IT department in most organizations is designed to enhance security and meet the users’ requests. In the supporter IT, the organization are required to communicate their objectives to the IT department. Most of the traditional IT departments are designed to play a supporting role.  In specific, they are designed to support the front line activities and do not generate revenues directly like driver activities. Purchasing, internal accounting, and office management operations are categorized as support departments.  Langer (2017) highlights
