In this semester, there are various topics we learned that enabled me to get gain new knowledge about the criminal justice system. I was able to learn about how some laws came to be and the fundamental principles in federal and state laws. The topics also enabled e to understudy about the different international, federal, state and local agencies, their role in enforcing the law and the specific responsibilities accorded to them. The class not only broadened my understanding of the criminal justice system but also helped me to identify the particular areas of interest to me.
