Answer  preview

Advanced practice nurses, also known as advance registered nurse practitioners (ARNP), are primary care providers who diagnose illness, manage chronic diseases, create awareness about diseases in the community, and engage in continuous research to remain ahead of any developments in the field. While traditional metrics such as readmissions dates and length of stay can be used, measuring the individual impact of the APRN can be difficult as most care is provided in a team-based model (Franklin, Chenok, Lavalee, Love, Paxton, et al., 2017). Nurses have a social duty to examine the impact of nursing on clients’ outcomes in reducing pain, suffering, preventing illness and injury, and promoting health. Showing the impact of advanced practice nurse duty is an important professional practice because they are a powerful source of information about client’s outcomes.
