According to DR. Meadow, HIV/AIDS infection rates are still a matter of concern, especially in Africa. The devastation that the disease brings about is too big for people to sit back and watch. All stakeholders have to come together and institute positive measures that will curb the spread of HIV/AIDS. Of all the likely measures that will get instituted, mandatory testing is the most important. The reason behind such an assertion is that leaving persons with the virus to their own devices has so far not helped deal with the spread of HIV/AIDS. DR. Williams notes that over six thousand new infections per day got recorded in 2012, all due to the presence of voluntary testing. Despite all the information present concerning HIV/AIDS, dealing with stigma is still problematic for those with the disease.
