Answer preview

In February 1964, the Beatles made an appearance on “The Ed Sullivan Show.” This step impacted their career because it made them huge role models to countless children (Swansea, 2016). Also, considering that the show had a vast viewership, their first album release after their appearance made them make great sales. Thirdly, the huge viewership increased the band’s popularity, making them recognized as the rock and roll band of the 60s and 70s. Conradt (2019) also reveals that their appearance promoted the TV program by selling tickets since guests made approximately 50,000 requests to attend the show. On the fifth point, the Beatle’s performance helped transform pop culture since the inspired youths formed bands due to their motivation.
