The telencephalon is the endbrain part. It comprises some structures like the basal ganglia, the cerebral cortex, the olfactory system, and others. The cerebral cortex structure in the endbrain support higher-level processes like emotion, consciousness, thought, language, emotion, memory, and language. The olfactory system is the brain structure that is responsible for a sense of smell.
