Going through this course allowed me to enhance my knowledge, especially when it pertains to data security. The theories and concepts learned in this course allowed me to perform even better at my previous job as a network engineer. Generally, access control refers to the mechanisms adopted by people or organizations to limit unauthorized third parties’ chances of accessing sensitive data. Organizations are increasingly investing a lot of money to develop safeguards that will protect the data in their possession and their systems from unauthorized third parties.
