Effective communication encompasses the transfer of information and the act of receiving, delivering, and sharing knowledge, all of which are essential in everyday life (Bull and Frederikson, 2019). It is necessary to be able to read and interpret nonverbal communication cues to promote nonverbal communication. It aids in determining what someone else is saying. Maintaining eye contact is another technique to add to the experience. Nonverbal communication relies heavily on eye contact. If someone pays attention to what is being said, they will make more significant eye contact with the speaker. Eye contact indicates confidence, engagement, and trust. Looking away from a person’s gaze may show hesitancy, while excessive eye contact may imply distrust.
