Answer preview
The article has followed the steps of the research process. It starts by giving an overview of the phenomenon under study which is the delivery of palliative healthcare that is successful by professionals in healthcare. The problem has then been identified, which was the inadequate preparation of nurses and other professionals in healthcare in caring for palliative care patients. The objective of the study is later determined in this paper, which was to assess the knowledge regarding palliative care among nurses with the use of the palliative care knowledge test (PCKT). The significance of the study is identified which was to determine deficits in knowledge in palliative care to facilitate programs that are appropriate to address the shortcomings thus improve the quality of the care provided (Prem et al., 2012).(427words)
