It is important for the nurse to conduct a complete health history to discover any concerns, such as changes in weight, anorexia, changes in the sense of taste or smell, and any difficulty chewing or swallowing. Discuss a time when your nursing assessment skills revealed a common or concerning symptom related to nutrition when caring for a patient. Additionally, discuss whether the patient had an ethnic, cultural, or spiritual variation regarding nutritional intake or status.
