Even though having employees with different cultural beliefs, practices, and norms can lead to workplace conflicts, having a decentralized organizational culture can be beneficial to an organization. Courtesy of such a set-up, employees are exposed to different ways of doing this, an aspect that gives them a chance to identify beneficial components in other cultures, which they can then adapt and implement within the working environment. Besides this, adopting a boundaryless organization structure allows organizations to become more efficient in the design, manufacture, and delivery of products to customers.
