Answer preview

Business communication is the process of sharing information among people in the organization and those outside the organization. An organization should provide good business communication between the employees and the management to achieve the company’s goals (Kalogiannidis, 2020). Business communication is very different from personal communication. Personal communication involves private letters, emails, memos, telephone conversations, and personal interviews. Business communication is more formal than personal communication, and it involves a larger audience. People will often practice when speaking in a business meeting but will not practice talking to friends and family. We should have excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills. Good language is a symbol of a company’s integrity and it affects how the customer views it. For instance, an employee or a leader who speaks in improper grammar and have many spelling errors in their writings can portray a bad image of the company. In a business, one ought to know when to talk, when to listen, and share ideas.
