Select aspecificorganization of interest to you and identify a problem at the firm related to organizational behavior (OB). Think of yourself as an organizational consultant and assume that a key manager has requested a thorough analysis and recommended course of action to resolve an actual organizational problem that will make a difference to the future performance of the organization.

Annotate one qualitative research article from a peer-reviewed journal on a topic of your interest. Provide the reference list entry for this article in APA Style followed by a three-paragraph annotation that includes:

Jesse James, a 20-year old, was arrested for killing a police officer. As a newly elected prosecutor, you are responsible for prosecuting Mr. James. You announce your decision not to seek the death penalty in this case, but under your state’s law, the offense charged is considered special circumstances, which would qualify as a death penalty case. Your decision does not sit well with the law enforcement community.

This case takes a “horizontal” slice through a number of coexistent issues . As a result, the challenge is “knowing where to start” – just as it is in real organizations – and this requires detective work. (Appendix B) is attached for you to sort out the the key actors and their relationship.

Consider three empirical research that you have ever done in the course of your studies. How do the suggestions for further research presented in these studies justify or refute the need for your proposed study? How does this justification or refutation influence your next steps in the dissertation process?
