Imagine that you are the human resources (HR) manager at a company. The company you work for is trying to determine whether it would be better for its employees to be compensated using a merit-based pay plan or an incentive-based pay plan. As the HR manager, it is your responsibility to explain each pay plan to your company’s board of directors and voice an opinion about which one you feel would work best for the company’s employees. In addition, you must explain your choice.

2-3 page double spaced reflection in which you critically engage with a reading below. A good paper will be one that demonstrates clear understanding of the reading and a careful reflection that provides evidence of original thought (not mere regurgitation) and connections to your own fieldwork experiences where appropriate. The own fieldwork experiences should be explained later on, and I’ll attach the reading below as a PDF file.

Write a 2–3 word paper addressing the following questions: Describe the juvenile-justice system. Explain the role of probation and aftercare.
