Explore the internet and discover a twenty-first century jazz artist not formally discussed in the course. Write one paragraph describing the musician and his/her music, in the same manner that you would tell a friend. Add a second short paragraph of no more than three sentences, relating your reasons for choosing this artist and why everyone else in the class should investigate their music. Be sure to provide the online link to the website containing an example of your artist’s music, so others can hear what you are musically attracted to. This is not a formal writing assignment. However, be sure to use proper grammar and spelling so your thoughts will be clearly understood.
