Telehealth, also referred to as telemedicine, is the application of electronic technology to address patients’ diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring, to improve the patients’ care. This approach has improved the management of health information through the collection, transmission, and interpretation of patients’ data, deriving health data from wearable devices, and instant transfer of information between patients and healthcare providers through patient portals, mobile phones, and tablets (Romanick-Schmiedl, &Raghu, 2020).
