Introduction

Exempting some cases such as rape or incest when discussing the issue of declaring abortion illegal is a major debate which has supporting arguments from both the proponents and the opponents. There are arguments that although abortion is wrong and should be declared illegal, illegalizing it should exempt the case of rape or incest since the victims may not be willing to maintain such pregnancies.
