The increasing costs of heart disease treatment make it harder for people to get the care they need (Walton-Moss et al., 2014). Without access to treatment, the number of people suffering from CHD will continue rising. As such, it is imperative that health care organizations find a way of subsidizing these costs, making them affordable to every person within the community. One way they can do this is by increasing health care insurance coverage. Currently, the percentage of people without insurance cover stands at slightly under eighteen percent. Even though most people have health care insurance, affording treatments is increasingly becoming challenging. Changing the current situation will not be easy, considering it is a process that might take a while. However, if all the stakeholders are willing to come together and work in tandem, then positive results will slowly begin to emerge (Walton-Moss et al., 2014). Following the recommendations made in this paper will result in a decline in the number of people suffering from heart disease within Philadelphia.
