Baltimore is famous for its historical significance and its pride in nature. The simulation theories which emphasize the use of the physical environment as sensory information for human wellbeing can be easily implemented in Baltimore, which has invested much in its natural resources like parks which the state preserves. However, the state does not allow much control for its residents. Many live-in row houses, causing crowding, a demotivator of control as per the control theory. Crowding causes poor academic performance in young girls and behavioral challenges in young boys, such as the inclination to violence (Schaumann et al., 2016). These are some of the significant groups that social workers work with to reduce drug addiction and crime rates. The behavioral theory has impacted many in Baltimore’s social interaction as they have similar behaviors in specific settings, for example, Carol singing at the Christmas village or loud cheering during the mayor’s annual Christmas parade.
