The case study, Pirates of Globalization, brings out the severity of the production of counterfeit goods globally. The unfortunate aspect is that the pirates are modifying the intellectual property patents to create clones of the products and then they end up using the internet to sell the products (Heinonen, et al., 2012). Innocent online auction sites end up in trouble for unknowingly selling those products causing the original manufactures to sue them…
