Law enforcement uses various strategies in the effort to control crime.  The process of crime control is very political as it is challenged by other forces surrounding the strategies such as racial discrimination (Simon, 2017). This occurs as a result of the continued inequality between different racial groups. The minority find that the process is meant to pose discrimination.
