An ethical dilemma is a decision-making problem between two possible options. However, none of the two options is acceptable from a moral point of view. Although we face many ethical challenges in our life, especially those in office, most problems come with straightforward solutions (Ngozwana, 2018). Based on our case study, Mayor Gibson can open the game by throwing the first pitch, but he should decline the VIP box ticket offered. That will enable him to enforce his strict code of ethics and show that he is not ready to accept any favors.
