Pollution of the environment has become an issue of concern in the United States. The government and some other organizations have formulated policies that will help in prevention, controlling and even reducing environmental pollution. A conducive environment supports human life and polluting the environment will endanger it. Environmental pollution happens in different ways such as the way the humans dispose of their garbage, the toxic waste that is emitted from factories including the gases among others. The activities lead to types of environmental pollution such as air pollution, land pollution, sound pollution among others (Kamieniecki & Kraft, 2013). The policies formulated have been put in practice.
