Homelessness is considered as a social crisis in most countries across the world and in particular the United States. People who lack a permanent, regular and adequate places to spend the night are regarded as homeless people Brush, et al., (2016). These people are forced to live in shelters, abandoned buildings or vehicles, on the streets, or in other forms of unstable situations. To offer a solution to the problem of homelessness in the downtown areas the United States, it is better to know the factors that contribute to homelessness in the United State.
