In place of the US government and the Nation as a whole, I would like to present this apology to the Native Americans. Racism has been an affliction to the American Society for decades and centuries. In this affliction, it is sad to note that the Native Americans have been to fall victim to the injustices that it has wrought. It is this xenophobia and racial discrimination that has led to the instability of the Native American Identity. The origin of this injustice began with the legal organization and it must end with it. This takes us back to the 18th and 19th century where the US government made a number of treaties, well over 800, with the native tribes. It is sad to admit that these treaties were simply full of unfulfilled promises.(1371words)
