Answer preview

competencies among the nursing workforce helps in conflict management (Preheim and Armstrong, Barton, 2017). It is because interpersonal relationships are built on these elements, which creates mutual respect that helps to effective resolve conflict. As a nurse, healthy teamwork and collaboration are crucial for attaining improved clinical effectiveness and job satisfaction. From experience in my nursing practice, groups that lack teamwork and fail to collaborate often encountered mistakes that openly affected the safety of patients. Such teams faced dysfunction due to the absence of trust and accountability for errors. For nurses to excel at delivering the ultimate goal of high-value patient care, it is necessary to practice teamwork and collaboration.
