There are various recent trends in diversity and inclusion training. This include an evolving work force. Due to the outbreak of covid-19, employees had to work from home. Different employees had different living backgrounds with different working conditions. Different geographical locations also pose a challenge for employees working remotely. Therefore the leadership positions must focus on it to look on how to bridge those gaps and minimize such distributed model challenges. Another trend is enabling diverse gender identity and gender expression. In recent times,organizations have been trying to grapple with dynamics in gender awareness by adopting inclusive practices like access to gender neutral restrooms and also the use of gender inclusive language to binary and transgender employees.
