Jesus knew what was coming for the disciples and he knew the only way they would be able to survive was if they remained united. Jesus tells the disciples to love one another as the had loved them. Jesus does not leave without promising to send the disciples a helper namely the Holy Spirit. In my opinion, this kind of unity would be great, a lot of people would get along
