On June 30th, 2015, California Governor Gerry Brown signed SB 277. The bill passed to target the parents who curtailed their children who are in daycare or pre-school to be immunized. The Senate bill 277 amended California Health and safety code and it took full effect on July 1st, 2016. Initially the parents had an authority to stop their children from being immunized.
