However, social media has raised many problems that employees and employers must address. For example, social media has caused role-blurring, where workplaces’ activities coincide with personal activities (Offer, 2014). It is because people find themselves receiving calls from the organization or coworkers during their free time, making it hard to completely separate working time and personal time. Social media use has also created chaos between supervisors and employees, especially when employees participate more in social media than the organization’s tasks (Charoensukmongkol, 2014). From these problems, it is clear the employees need to communicate more with other people, while employers need more commitment from employees.
