Philosophy is entirely different from other fields of education. Philosophy aims to describe the underlying assumption of any aspect of life. One of the different perspectives in the application of philosophical methods and thoughts is the use of insight and understanding in how we live our lives as stated by Socrates and Bertrand Russel. Another is the use of our will in establishing meaning for our lives as emphasized by Albert Camus and Leo Tolstoy.
