Answer preview

One of the forms of oral presentations includes manuscripts whereby a speech is delivered through speaking form texts. The strength of manuscripts is that a speaker is allowed to practice how to deliver the speech word for word. The weakness is that once may sound to be too practiced or stiff during speech delivery. Secondly, memorization entails fully memorizing a speech before delivering it. The advantage of this oral presentation is that a speaker maintains eye contact and engagement with the audience without relying on a script. However, an individual is likely to forget other vital points during delivery. Thirdly, impromptu is a type of oral presentation that occurs at the spur of the moment since there is little to no time for preparation (Bovée, Thill, and Raina, 2016).
