Answer preview
SJSU has been at the forefront to ensure a conducive environment within the university premises. The campus is committed to saving energy, thus contributing to the efficient use of environmental elements like water used to generate electricity. Also, through the use of IoT to enhance security in the campus, it is possible to prevent damages and loss of properties. When it comes to the sustainability of IoT systems on our campus’s premises, we have hired personnel who makes sure that all IoT systems are up and running. IoT systems are also part of computing systems, which means that they are exposed to security threats. For example, hackers can compromise library IoT systems to facilitate the theft of books or unauthorized access to library rooms. Therefore, the university has a security team, which assesses any threats to our IoT systems. Besides, SJSU is committed to the continuous improvement of the existing IoT systems. The institutions have allocated funds for further research and incorporation of new IoT technologies in the future.
