Technology and Therapy
Technology has become an important part of society. Imagine you or someone you know are interested in receiving therapy. How would you feel if your psychologist recommended that you receive treatment via videoconferencing (e.g. Skype) or text message instead of coming to their office? How do you think patients in general might respond to nontraditional (i.e., technology-based) delivery of treatment? Do you think your privacy would be limited via teletherapy?
