The Age Discrimination of Employment Act was effected into law in 1967 during the Lyndon Johnson tenure as the president. This law was effected to protect Americans from age discrimination in the process of job hiring. It also provides and ensures that there is equality on employment all American employment opportunities. The ADEA was affected into law, and all the conditions that were not inclusive in the Civil Rights Act of 1964 were explicitly covered. There have been amendments to the ADEA since the year 1967. In the year 1986, the ADEA was amended and every US citizen of at least 40 years of age was covered protected by this law…
