THE BIBLE IN AN HOUR

Readings in Redemptive History

On the basis of your study of “Bible in an Hour” and using about 1600 words, summarize the overarching storyline of the Christian Scripture in a MS word document. As you do so, the following suggestions will help guide you:

(a) Do not make reference to the BIH charts. Rather, relate the story as you would to a friend in a conversation.
(b) Do not spend much time on matters that are not part of the story proper. Thus, do not include all the particulars about the three kinds of ancient covenants or spend too much time on an introduction. Use your allotted words to tell the story.
(c) Do not spend too many words by giving too much detail about the early part of the story, especially the plot developments unfolding before Moses leads the people out of Egypt. Otherwise, you will not be able to cover the latter portions of the plot.
(d) If you have any questions about this assignment, contact the instructor.

The Bible in an Hour gives a critical overview of the Bible as one complete unit that is well integrated to deliver a journey from the beginning of creation to the coming back of God.
