The term “New World” has its origin in the 16th century in the Age of Discovery after Europeans discovered what was later referred to as the Americas and Oceania. Creation of this world had a significant expansion into the realm of classical geographers as it gave a stretch to the geographical horizons which were previously limited to a constituent of Europe, Asia and Africa (Roco & Bainbridge, 2013). This era brought a change in a lot of perspectives in terms of the economy, political, and social dimensions.
