He attended the funeral only to find that his mother had remarried his uncle Claudius which he finds heinous and suspects foul play as he was the heir of his father’s throne. This is confirmed when his father’s ghost appears to him and says that his death was murder by Claudius, a claim he does not believe at first. ..
