Eight months ago, Jane lost her grandmother. Since the loss, Jane says that she has felt demotivated and sad. On further probing, Jane says that her parents died when she was five years old in a grisly road accident. Jane says she was in the car with her parents, and they were from the mall when the accident occurred. Her parents died on the spot, and she suffered minor injuries. After being discharged from the hospital, her grandmother raised her. She has grown to be attached to her grandmother, and the dead was devastating news to her. Besides, the grandmother was sick for only four days, and she was still in good shape the day she died. Jane says that when she was informed that her grandmother is sick, she was at her place of work, and since it was on Monday, she had planned to visit her over the weekend. However, she traveled to see her on Saturday, and she was informed in the hospital that she died a few hours before her arrival. Jane has been blaming herself for her grandmother’s death as she believes that if she arrived at the hospital on time, then her grandmother would have been alive.
