This kind of systems has given rise to national defenses, and common laws. There are four types of political systems which play a major role by enforcing the rule of law. Democracy is one type of political system used by the United States. One advantage of this political system is that people vote for representatives who participate in law-making. The second advantage is that citizens participate in a free and fair election. One disadvantage of this system is that it may misuse funds spent when formulating laws. The other problem is that those in power may be tempted to engage in corrupt practices.
