All U.S citizens are mandated to register with the selective services and provide a number needed by the armed forces in times of national emergency. The U.S federal law requires all men between eighteen and twenty-five years to register with the selective services. Also, citizens are supposed to service on a jury when summoned or serve as witnesses in a particular trial. In such cases, they have the responsibility to appear before the court. However, citizens have responsibilities to the political system and their fellow citizens. They are supposed to engage in the community by recognizing where help is needed and offering workforce or knowledge to ensure changes are met.
