Providing information that can be verified during research-based writing is usually a daunting task for new students because they do not have a concrete understanding of how to go about it.  Most scholars believe that the information from Wikipedia cannot be used in scholarly works, but I am of different opinion especially when one understands how to do it (Learning, n.d). The aim is to keenly use it either as a source of information, as a starting place during the research process or simply as a guide.
