Answer preview
The feminist movement remains crucial due to the many benefits achieved over time. For instance, women have obtained equal rights like education, voting, and work. In addition, the movement broadened employment among women at equitable wages. Â Starting in the 1960s, the feminist movement focused on saving rape victims and ending gender-based violence. The movement brought to light outdated attitudes and laws regarding rape and the insensitivity of the justice system, police, and prosecutors towards victims of rape (Mastrocinque, 2019). The target of the movement also involved lenient treatment towards the defendants.
