Vulvovaginitis which is sometimes referred to as vulvitis or vaginitis is a common health condition among women of all ages (Beyitler & Kavukcu, 2017). This health condition occurs when the vulva and vagina have inflammation of the vulva and vagina. The pathophysiology of Vulvovaginitis reveals that this condition is caused by triggers like yeast, viruses, sexually transmitted infections, and irritants like deodorants and perfumed soaps. Still, girls at puberty get this condition due to low estrogen levels. These low levels make the vaginal mucus and vulvar skin to become quite thin and acidic thus increasing high chances for bacteria to proliferate.
