According to the Webster dictionary, the term wealth is defined as all property that has money value or an exchangeable value. Also, it is described as an abundance of valuable material possessions or resources. Wealth can also be defined as the value of all assets owned by a person, community, company or a country. Wealth is determined by taking the total market value of all tangible and intangible assets, and this is after subtracting all debts. Various theorists have gone deeper in defining wealth and finding its causes (Landes, 2015).
